BREAKING NEWS: Tyler Perry’s BEAUTY IN BLACK has officially been renewed for Season 4 by Netflix, reversing the previous decision to end the series with Season 3.

Season 3 has not even premiered yet and was originally announced as the final season, but Netflix has completely changed course after the drama’s huge performance. Season 1 reached #1 in 28 countries, while Season 2 reached #1 in 17 countries.

Tyler Perry confirmed there was simply more of the Bellarie family’s story he wanted to explore. Season 3 will first continue Kimmie’s rise to power as a deadly family feud forces her into an unlikely alliance with Mallory, with blackmail, revenge, and buried secrets threatening to destroy the entire Bellarie empire.

Season 3 is still coming to Netflix very soon this year, but it is officially NOT the end anymore. Kimmie, Mallory and the Bellaries are coming back for another season after that.
