MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS Season 4 is officially in production, with Netflix wasting absolutely no time bringing Jackie Howard and the Walter family back for another chapter in Silver Falls.
Netflix renewed the hit YA romance for Season 4 months before Season 3 even premiered, giving the writers and production team the unusual advantage of moving directly into the next installment. Filming is now underway in Calgary, Canada, with Nikki Rodriguez returning as Jackie alongside Noah LaLonde as Cole and Ashby Gentry as Alex. Netflix has already confirmed that the new season will arrive sometime in 2027.
The early production start is particularly good news considering where Season 3 left everyone. The finale didn’t exactly send viewers peacefully into the night. Jackie and Cole’s relationship collapsed, Eliot complicated Jackie’s feelings even further, and Cole’s terrifying racing accident left his fate hanging over the final moments of the season. Season 4 now has an enormous emotional mess waiting for it before anyone even starts untangling the romance.
And romance definitely isn’t going anywhere. Showrunner Melanie Halsall has already promised that the series will continue embracing the love stories, love triangles, and teenage complications that have defined My Life with the Walter Boys. With Jackie, Cole, Alex, Eliot, Kiley, Dylan and several other characters entering increasingly complicated territory, Silver Falls might somehow become even messier next season.
The show’s rapid turnaround also demonstrates just how much confidence Netflix has in the franchise. Season 4 was ordered before Netflix had even seen how audiences would respond to Season 3, marking the second consecutive year that the streamer renewed My Life with the Walter Boys before its pending season premiered. Seasons 1 and 2 alone accumulated more than 130 million views through the end of 2025.
Silver Falls isn’t closing its doors anytime soon. MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS Season 4 is officially filming, and after that chaotic Season 3 ending, the next chapter already has enough heartbreak, romance, family drama and unfinished business to keep the Walters extremely busy. Jackie, Cole, Alex and the rest of the family will officially return when MY LIFE WITH THE WALTER BOYS Season 4 arrives on Netflix in 2027.
