LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE has officially been renewed for Season 2 on Netflix, with the streamer showing major confidence in its new adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s classic books.
The new series only premiered on July 9, but Netflix had actually renewed it before Season 1 even debuted, with showrunner Rebecca Sonnenshine saying they were thrilled to continue the story of the Ingalls family.
Season 2 is already in production and will continue the show’s mix of family drama, frontier survival and 19th century American history as the Ingalls face another chapter on the prairie.
Netflix clearly sees LITTLE HOUSE ON THE PRAIRIE as something built to last, and the Ingalls family’s journey is only getting started.
