THE TRAP, a brand new psychological mystery thriller, is officially in production at Netflix, and if you’re into dark mysteries, shocking twists and mind games, this is one to keep an eye on.
Based on Melanie Raabe’s bestselling novel, the six part series follows renowned author Lisa Konrad, who hasn’t left her house in nearly a decade after witnessing her sister’s murder. When she believes she’s spotted the killer on television, she sets a dangerous trap by using herself as bait.
Filming is currently underway in Germany, with Netflix expected to release the series in 2026, although an exact premiere date has not yet been announced.
